How to Find the Best Offers

1) Use a car hire cost comparison service which will save you time and money.
2) Consider space – How many passengers? How much luggage? Any extras?
3) Consider the car rental type you need – Automatic or Manual? Two seater, five seater or people carrier? Engine power? Petrol or diesel?
4) Are there any extras you need to add to your car hire agreement? Baby seat? Additional driver? Roof rack?
5) Do you require added excess insurance? This can be obtained very cheaply if added during the booking process.
6) At the risk of repeating ourselves BOOK IN ADVANCE! Sorry for shouting but this is vital when trying to obtain the best deals.
7) Don’t just go ahead and book because you are the driver. Ask your travel companions for their opinions as you may be forgetting something important.
8) If your dates are flexible then try book midweek when prices will be cheaper and availability higher.
9) Try hire a car at the airport rather than downtown as there will be longer opening hours in which to pick up your car.
10)  Carefully read your booking confirmation email and bring all the required documents.
